Our days
Whether, you are an individual, a couple or a group of friends, you are welcome on our friendly Simulated Game Days. We offer private, corporate and syndicate days any day of the week.

Melin-Y-Wig stands in the beautiful surroundings of Clocaenog forest and bordered by the river Clwyd, between Ruthin and Corwen in North Wales.
12/15 Guns, 3000/4000 Birds depending on the team of guns ability reload and shoot, a typical day would cost £170.00 per Gun.
Please book early to avoid disappointment.
Full hospitality including tea/coffee, snacks, elevenses and various other refreshments throughout the day, a hearty farmers lunch held out in the field, All of the drives are reached on foot with moderate effort, but Transport around the venue can be arranged if required.our NEW purpose buillt Gun/personel carrier will be available on our next shoot on 20th August 23, Built by Brearsmith LTD of Wallasey,Wirral.
At Melin-Y-Wig we can offer some fantastic drives and flushes including:
Early season Driven Pheasant, low fast Grouse shot from simulated Butts, Partridge, settling Duck, Walked up flush and late season high pheasant, and if requested by a full group booking a Rabbit flush, a selection of these will make up the day's shoot.
The day will begin at 10.00am, for refreshments and a pre-shoot briefing, before a great day's sport, shot over 4 or 5 drives, each gun will shoot two times per drive moving up two pegs each time. The day should end approximately 03.30-04.00pm.
A minimum of 350 + cartridges IN FIBRE WAD ONLY will be required for the day for each gun. remember this is minimum not maximum.
We pride ourselves on great realistic targets and fantastic catering, so be prepared for a full on days shooting.
